New Verison of WP-Domainer Plugin
Here a cool update of the WP-Domainer plugin that includes shortcode for easy domain listing, formatting and search-engine obfuscation — based on the previous DropBuzz.com Poll, this was an important feature to have.
Also included is the Favicon support — just upload your favicon to a special folder and it will appear on your blog. This really works well for Wordpress MU installations.
It’s FREE! Download it Today! http://dropbuzz.com/wp-domainer
New Version of WP-EasyStore is Out!
I’ve got an update of WP-EasyStore available. If you already own a copy, I’ll be sending you an email shortly with a link to the upgrade. Otherwise, the plugin is only $12.00.
The most visible added feature with this release is the formatting of search terms and eBay items titles which are now capitalized better. Lot’s of eBay sellers like to put their titles in ALL CAPITALS — I’ve fixed this.
You can see the new version working at:
Price is only $12 which is considerably lower than the other eBay scripts out there that DON’T integrate with Wordpress. And, it’s an instant download after payment has been made.

A Couple Color Tools
Just thought I’d share a couple of color tools I use often when modifying CSS files for Wordpress themes:
- ColorSchemer is a great tool generating variants of a color you already have
- Instant-Eyedropper is a fantastic desktop tool for getting the HTML hex values of any color on your screen.
I’ve been using both of these tools for a long time now… Enjoy!
New RateNames.com Logo
The logo contest I had started over on DP is now over and the new logo has been delivered! Here’s the white-background version below. I hope to get the site up and running as soon as I find a matching forum theme. Hang In There!

Another Logo Design Contest!
I’ve had nothing but good experiences running logo design contests at Digital Point. You get a great logo at a very good price, and if you’re like me working in a lot of different directions not knowing which idea might bear fruit, getting value for the $$$ is critical.
My latest logo contest is for RateNames.com. It’s designed to be a members-only forum where domainers can get (more) private, no-nonsense appraisals of their domain names (and have fun along the way!): which ones to refund, flip, hold, or develop. The plan is to open up when the logo contest finishes and I figure out the nuances of the forum software.
Who’s invited? I’ll be sending out a private invitation to GoDrop.com members first, then open it up to the general domainer community. To get in, you’ll need to submit samples of your domains and then be approved. There IS a certain bar and quality of names I’d like to maintain…
Hang in there, it should be FUN!
